Candidate Recruitment & Screening Process

Our Process


Types of Work assignments

Short Term & Temp-Hire Staffing

This option provides clients with highly qualified pre screened applicants that meet the specifications for short term and long term assignments.  As long as the Temporary Associate remain our employees we manage all employee related functions, including weekly payroll and benefits.  With this option, clients have the opportunity to evaluate the selected employee within the client’s environment before making a final hiring decision.

On Site Managed Services

With our customized Managed Service Programs, our professionals work in close partnership with your Management and Human Resource Departments to design, develop, implement and monitor creative staffing solutions that deliver directly to your bottom line. We offer a wide range of Managed Service Programs, providing different levels of coverage depending on workforce volume as well as client needs and wants.

Client-Referred Employees

With this option clients can find their own employees, but have them paid through our company. There will be a specific mark-up above the hourly pay rate, which is lower than the mark-up for an employee recruited by our company. Employees will be on our payroll, and therefore we will be responsible for payroll issues, payroll taxes, workers compensation etc.  This allows for the client to evaluate the selected candidate before making a final decision.

Direct Hire

This option allows clients to interview pre-screened, pre-tested applicants who meet their qualifications. We will recruit and screen qualified applicants. The fee is dependent upon the specific position. A client can hire and immediately start the applicant of their choice.

Q: What is included in the Bill Rate?

The Bill Rate is made up of the employees pay rate, workers compensation costs, employer taxes and a profit for our service.

Our search and recruitment efforts begin immediately from the moment you engage with our company. We take the time to understand the details of the position and your expectations for our employees to fit into your team.

Q: As a Client of Employment Solutions, who are my contacts within your company?

Day-to-Day contact with our team is typically at a branch level. You will be assigned a Personnel Coordinator to oversee your order and service from the inside. The Branch Manager and Sales Manager ensure all orders are filled and expectations are met. Director and Executive Level staff maintain involvement with our clients to ensure overall satisfaction. Problem resolution is addressed immediately at the Executive Level.

Q: What kind of background checks do you provide?

Employment Solutions offers all types of background checks and skill assessment tests. E-Verify, Drug Testing, Local Background Checks, National Background Checks, Reference Checks, and a variety of other skill assessment tests. Tailored to a Client’s individual needs.

Q: How and where do you recruit to fill open positions?

Recruiting quality applicants is paramount for any staffing company. We’re always looking for great people to generate the instant results our Client’s demand. We use a variety of recruiting methods from Referrals, Networking, Advertising, Target Recruiting, Giant Recruiter Networks, Social Media, Visible Signage in high traffic areas, Hiring Events and Job Fairs.

Q: How do you screen applicants for available positions?

We take pride in being able to find the right candidate for the job. Our thorough interview process includes: Pre Qualifying and Phone Screen, Application Process, Skills Based Interview, Behavioral Based Interview, and Analysis of Interview Results. After the interviewing process, the candidate will be further screened for Eligibility, Reference Checks, and General Orientation.
